End Of The Month Round Up

Things I’ve liked in January:

My daughters 1st birthday.  She is the most awesome kid in the world.  Don’t get me wrong I adore my boys but they’re getting to the age where they don’t rely on me as much.  Ivy is my little best friend in the whole wide world.  She is so effing smart and we have our own language/ signing that we do so we understand each other.  She now walks 95% of the time and has been doing so since just before her birthday.  She rules.  Seriously.

iPhone. I was always a BlackBerry girl.  Loyal ‘til the end.  Bought Jon an iPod touch for Christmas and I was suckered in.  My contract was up for renewal mid Jan and I’ve not looked back since.  I would save my iPhone over my laptop in a fire (but not over my external hard drive :oP ).  iPhone I love you.

Things I’ve NOT liked in January:

My daughter getting sick. Turned out to be an UTI but when we get sent to hospital by the GP in an ambulance after she’s had a shot incase it’s meningitis you tend to panic.  Poor Baba was in overnight and then we had two days to go in for a shot in her canula.  She’s fine now but seeing her having a febrile fit is something I never want to see again.

Being poor. It sucks.  Luckily we’re a strong family and know the next couple of months are going to be tough, it’ll lighten up in six months, be even better this time next year and in two years time we’ll be laughing our butts off.  Just gotta remember to keep all this in mind and be strong.
